The role of contact materials in circuit breakers

We have developed a wide range of contact materials for small, intermediate and large size devices.
From a safety stand-point, “anti-welding” is vital in completely cutting off excess current.

Generally, we use materials made by Internal oxidation which contain a high oxide content, and materials made by powder metallurgy.
We develop and produce materials tailored to the individual requirements of our customers.

Our approach

We provide not only contacts but also brazed contacts as well as brazed by Ag base and Cu base brazing materials, welded and caulked Assembled contacts for installation to contactors.

The following are examples of our approach:

  • Cutting costs by reducing the silver content in contacts and composite brazing, staking and welding.
  • Developing new contact materials with RoHS
  • Offering suitable contact types for new device designs (i.e. For suppressing electrical arc, etc)
