The role of contact materials in electromagnetic switches

We have developed a wide range of contact materials for small, intermediate and large size devices.
Our primary themes are to develop new contact materials and configurations, to improve anti-erosion and anti-welding and to reduce loads at the point of electrical arc.

Our approach

We provide not only contacts but also brazed and welded Assembled contacts for installation to contactors as well.

The following are examples of our approach:

  • Cutting costs by reducing the silver content in contacts and composite brazing, staking and welding.
  • Developing new contact materials with RoHS
  • Dealing with silver plate (in-house manufacturing)
  • Offering suitable contact types for new device designs (i.e. For suppressing electrical arc, etc)
