The SDGs are plans and goals that “Let’s solve global issues such as environmental problems, discrimination, poverty, and human rights problems by 2030”, and constructed with 17 goals and 169 targets. It has been constructed.

• As a pioneer of electrical contacts manufacturer,Chugai Electric Industry Co., Ltd. Kanagawa Factory manufactures electrical contact that can meet all kinds of requirements. Our strength is to provide a one-stop solution from material melting to contact making. We develop contact materials for various fields and manufacture the contact in different shapes to suit their application for the customer.
• Meanwhile contributing to society through corporate activities, we always put quality as first priority, comply with laws and regulations, set quality/environmental targets and manage them in order to provide products that satisfy the requirements of customers in Japan and overseas. We will strive to improve the effectiveness of the system on a regular and continuous basis, improve quality, prevent and protect the environment from pollution.
• In order to promote quality and environmental improvement activities, we will actively work on the following items.
  • For target “No recurrence of the same defect”, we set specific goals and implement the measures thoroughly against nonconformity.
  • In order to reduce the burden on the global environment, we will properly manage environmentally hazardous substances.
  • Promote resource and energy conservation.
  • Promote proper management of waste.
  • Properly manage chemical substances.
